It's hard to beat the natural scenery you'll find along Shelby Riverwalk Trail. Visitors will enjoy a 5-mile stretch of this nature trail before they leave town, which offers them cattails and beaver dams in addition to riverfront views!

The Historical Society Museum (built in 1931), located in the heart of Michigan's Historic Detroit, is a must-see for all tourists. Built on 24 Mile Road and Van Dyke Avenue with six rooms that display historical exhibits from the early 1800s onward, visitors can learn more about what life was like back then!

The Taylor Nature Center at 13 Mile and Chicago Road is free to the general public. Trails, gardens, and an amphitheater are among the features of this facility. Here, visitors may learn about nature as they investigate the numerous displays and programs available to them.

The Shelby Township Historic District is a must-see for those who enjoy history. It's also one of only two historic districts in Macomb County, making it an interesting destination that should not be missed out on!

On January 26th, 1984, the city was established and now has 2075 homes within its boundaries - many of which were constructed between 1840 and 1910. Visitors will discover a wide range of residential, religious, industrial, and commercial structures from this era.
